Hm. Well, something huge happened in my life today, so I decided to update this piece of crap I call a blog.

1) Dad called. 'nuff said.
2) Dad called and left a VOICEMAIL.

Okay, now to be serious. Yeah, numbers one and two are still the fact that my dad called and left a voicemail. The other thing is, when he called, he told me some really bad news. Let's have a recap, shall we?

Dad: "Hey, Nick."
Me: "Hey. You called?"
Dad: "Yeah. ... Are you sitting down?"
Me: "...No. Why? What happened?"
Dad: "I'd like it if you sat first."
Me: "Fine.......... Okay I'm sitting. What's going on?"
Dad: "You know your cousin Steven, right?"
Me: "Oh yeah! Of course! My big bro! What's going on, he getting married?"
Dad: "No... Nicky, Steven's dead. He OD'd last night."

.... From that point on, I lost it. I started bawling and I haven't quite been myself all day. I tried going skating with Matt, Luke, Bryan, and Joey, but Bry and Joe got into some shit at home and had to leave, leaving me Luke and Matt at the rink. That was fun. Now I'm home, probably going to go suit up and hit the pool in a little bit. Oh, and I've started wearing makeup.

School countdown: 2.5 days. That's all I got left of my summer. Oh well, I'm a senior this year, which means that I'll be able to get out of school a week early. That's a plus. Man, I wish any of the three Joeys were here. I need someone to cuddle with. Joey Fox, the luffer; Joey Alleva, the boyfriend; and Joey Griffin, the brother. Man, I really just need someone's shoulder to cry on right now.

Shitty update, but ... meh. I don't care. Yay life!! Oh, and I might be missing the first few days of school for Steve-o's funeral in Maryland. Yippee.
